Lani Domaloy — also known as Myk (pronounced Mai-k) — carries two names for reasons that are entirely her own, and entirely worth asking about someday.

A Filipino-Canadian writer and poet who wields technology and photography as creative tools — catching the heart of a moment, shaping it into something worth sharing. Rooted on Vancouver Island, BC, where the rugged soul of the Pacific Northwest feeds her creative pulse.

She never waited for formal training. She found her voice the honest way: through living, wandering, and paying close attention. Nature is where her words come alive. Solitude is where she does her best thinking. Curiosity is how she dissects the world turning it over, examining its underside. Travel and relationships are her greatest teachers. The kind that dismantle assumptions, widen the lens, and reveal that there are as many ways to be human as there are roads worth taking.

Her work moves through self-discovery, spirituality, love, and the beautiful complexity of being alive. It is raw, real, and always written from the inside out.
